900MHz NMR in Tsurumi Campus
Various state-of-the-art facilities are available within Tsurumi Campus, including the first 900 MHz NMR spectrometer installed in Japan.

Founded in April 2001, Tsurumi campus consists of both Yokohama City University, Graduate School of Nanobioscience, Department of Supramolecular Biology and the Riken Research Institute. These are the central elements of the "Yokohama Science Frontier", based along the Yokohama water front area, which aims to become a world center for studies of biological phenomena at the molecular level.

The Graduate School for the study of biological macromolecules provides integrated teaching (to Masters and PhD level) through practical, hands-on research, in order to provide the training and scientific skills needed to face the challenges of the 21st century.
